(Singing by students at Tshedimosong Farm School)

My name is Lucky Moatshe. I've organized a women's day specifically to come in to identify the problems of the farm women.

One of the problems that I have identified is the high rate of illiteracy. So I have volunteered to come in Tuesday, to write and to empower them, because I've learned that they rely so much on men that there is nothing that they can do on their own.

It's very difficult to work with the farms. It's difficult considering their self-esteem. This thing of being classified as the rural farm people, having no education – whenever they have to do something, they look at themselves and say, "But we are not the same as the other people of township."
