Hear Rosa María:

" . . . if you can be patient . . . you have a real good chance of seeing a jaguar if you come and do some tourism with us."

[TRANSCRIPT - 5.1]

Rosa María promises that ecotourists – who have a bit of patience – will have an opportunity to see a wild jaguar.

Hear Rosa María:

" . . . you can see a lot more of the flora and the variety, and walk from one river to the other . . . (while having) the experience of truly living with an indigenous family."

[TRANSCRIPT - 5.2]

The facilities being developed for ecotourists include five lodges on four different rivers, interconnected by trails and riverboat. Secluded trails provide ample opportunity to observe wildlife and enjoy the flora.

Reasonable fees will be charged for use of the facilities (such as the lodge, at Charque on the Río Beni, pictured below), and will be used to support the Tacana, Moseten and Tsimane Indians who built it, and further protection of the park.
Hear Rosa María:

"We are not in it to make a lot of money. We are in it to make sure that the ecotourism sustains the protection."
