Pawel Randzio, 21, (above) assists a cancer patient at the Clinic of Oncology and Hematology at Dzialdawska Street in Warsaw, one of four children's oncology wards in Warsaw. Randzio helped found Poland's Ore Ore Club, a volunteer organization comprised of child cancer survivors. After recovering from soft tissue cancer at age 14, Randzio began voluteering to help allay fears of other children undergoing treatment. He continues to volunteer throughout Warsaw, and is now focused on getting into medical school.

Barbara Zvrakowska, 22, (above) looks on while Eva Cwiokla plays inside the foundation's recreation room. Cwiokla has lived at the foundation periodically for three years, her cancer now in remission. At a young age, Zvrakowska lost her brother to cancer. She now volunteers helping other families undergoing similar struggles.
