Carolyn Clark, Organizer, NYC FHTG: Hey! I have been working against trafficking and with abandoned children for five years, and have recently started this community group to expand outreach and education in NYC on global human trafficking. I also work at a foundation in New York and write children's books.

Krittika, South Asian Workers Against Trafficking: Hi! My name is Krittika Ghosh and I am involved in South Asian Workers Against Trafficking. My background is mainly in the South Asian immigrant community in New York City. I recently completed my masters degree in Gender Studies in London

Kamala, South Asian Workers Against Trafficking: My name is Kamala and I work with a tiny group of women in NY that are called South Asian Workers Against Trafficking. We work with South Asian workers that have been trafficked to the USA. I have worked with abused and exploited domestic workers

Jake, TinyStars.org: Hi Everyone, One more reason to Love NYC. I'm really surprised to find this group. I have been working for Non-profits for about 12 years and fighting trafficking for around 2. I can't wait to see what is going on in NY, and what I can do.

Vincent, VP of a Technology Company: Vincent is our self-appointed Guy on the Street, and has been a wonderful addition to the group, bringing a sincere desire to learn about human trafficking and enough knowledge to start our own website! Hurrah Vincent!

Brad, Polaris Project DC: Brad is the National Coordinator of Polaris Project in Washington DC (the organization staring in our interview last month!). Brad spoke about volunteer opportunities at Polaris NJ in the Spring and helped us navigate our first meeting.

Carol Smolenski, ECPAT: Carol is the Executive Director of End Child Prostitution, Child Pornography and Trafficking of Children for Sexual Purposes-USA. We will hopefully be hearing more from Carol as she leads discussions and education days for our community group!

Elena Mikhaskova: Elena came to the group as 'woman married to Guy on the Street', and then, low and behold, Elena knows multiple languages and works in the nonprofit sector. Thanks Elena, you are an incredible asset to the group.
