Launch Your Own Social Venture!
Whether your focus is poverty, health, the elderly, the environment, education, race or diversity issues, the arts, an international issue in another part of the world, or any other social issue, we believe in your ability to address it! Around the world, young people are taking the initiative to use their passions to creatively solve the problems they see in the world around them. Youth Venture and its partners around the world believe in the ability of young people to create positive change in society and supports them by providing coaching, helpful resources, a seed grant to finance the launch of their social venture.
No matter what part of the world you come from, you have the opportunity to receive the support you need to launch your own social venture. Read the information below to find out how you can launch a venture in your part of the world?
If you are from the USA . . .
You are invited to apply to launch your own social venture through Youth Venture. Becoming a Youth Venture Team is a two-part process: The first step is to complete and submit one Action Plan as a team. From there, you'll be invited to present your idea to a Selection Panel of community members who will decide whether the action plan will be launched. If your Venture is approved by the panel, you will receive a seed grant of up to $1000 and coaching to help you launch your Venture. Si eres de Argentina ó México . . .
Te invitamos que crees y lances tu iniciativa social a través de Avancemos (Youth Venture Latinoamerica). Ser parte del movimiento global de jóvenes generadores de cambio implica dos pasos que tienes que dar: primero te invitamos a que identifiques alguna necesidad en tu comunidad y a partir de eso desarrolles una idea y completes un plan de acción por equipo. Después si tu equipo es aprobado por el panel de selección, recibirás un capital semilla de hasta $10,000 pesos mexicanos en Mexico o hasta $2,000 pesos argentinos en Argentina para poner en marcha tu iniciativa. ¡Es posible que tus sueños de un mundo mejor se realicen gracias a tu propia acción!

Convidamos você a criar e lançar seu próprio projeto social através do Geração MudaMundo (Youth Venture Brasil). Para ser parte desse movimento global de jovens agentes de mudança, você precisa dar dois passos: primeiro, convidamos que você identifique alguma necessidade em sua comunidade e, a partir disso, desenvolva uma idéia e complete um Plano de Ação em equipe.
Depois, se sua equipe for aprovada pelo Painel de Seleção, receberá um financiamento semente de até R$1500,00 para implementar sua iniciativa. É possível que seus sonhos de um mundo melhor se realizem graças a sua própria ação!

Contact Peace Child International's Be the Change! Youth-led Development Programme. Peace Child International's mission is to empower young people to "be the change they want to see in the world" (Mahatma Gandhi). Peace Child is famous for its World Youth Congress series on youth and development. Young delegates to its 1st congress in Hawaii argued that: "Being educated is not enough: youth need to be enabled to take action!" So the Be the Change Programme was born, supporting young people with grants of up to $1,000 to design and implement their own community improvement projects. Projects funded over the next 18 months will be featured at the next World Youth Congress in Quebec City in August 2008. Next deadline for project submissions is the 31st March.
