The Omidyar Virtual Community provides and encourages everyone, without regard to national origin, race, creed, religion, physical challenge the opportunity to become involved in important issues and to bring their concerns and ideas to a forum designed to provide foundation for improved life.

7) Delivery model: Word of mouth and active participation is seeing the O-net virtual community rapidly expand in its membership and participation.

8) Key operational partnerships: I believe that Pierre and Pamela Omidyar are tremendous leaders whose vision for this world and society is a tremendous boon. They have formed and created a team and their generosity in providing the financial support to allow this entire community to begin and now start to flourish is magnificent.

9) Financial model: There is no requirement for financial contribution--the entire community is funding and provided full financial support by the generosity of Pierre and Pamela Omidyar.

          • Project outcomes: I am not certain but my feeling is that there are thousands now and that this will grow into millions of active community participants.

          • Number of clients in past year: People in different regions of the world, Africa, Middle East, South East Asia, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, North, Central and South America have been benefiting and the entire world community will continue to benefit.
