This month, we highlight the work of two women social entrepreneurs in South America with multimedia presentations from the Changemakers Studio. Dora Andrade uses classical dance training to foster healthy personal development in girls and boys who grow up in severely impoverished circumstances in Fortaleza and other Brazilian cities. Rosa María Ruiz is the driving force behind the creation of Madidi National Park in Bolivia, which encompasses the most biodiverse protected region in the world.

Photojournalist Janet Jarman contributes powerful photographs and sound clips to convey the transformations in the lives of students of Andrade's School of Dance and Social Integration. Andrade is an accomplished dancer who found that circumstances in her environment "demanded a deeper engagement and decisive action."

The magic of Madidi National Park, and the unique achievements of Rosa María Ruiz, come alive through Rosa María's photographs and the sound of her voice. You can enjoy the audio files in this section with the free RealPlayer G2 player. Take a trip with us into the Bolivian rain and cloud forests . . .
