In order to facilitate the scaling-up of social innovations, Changemakers seeks to know which solutions in various fields will benefit most from investment (and why) by corporations, foundations, and other funders. To spread this knowledge, each Changemakers competition will generate an Investor Advisory that is available by subscription. It will detail critical insights as well as do's, and don'ts for the field or issue being examined.

The Investor Advisory will represent the distillation of all the best knowledge and wisdom that emerges from each competition via entries, discussion and judges' comments. It will capture both tested concepts and new ideas that are just emerging. The return on investment from discussing these issues will be great.

All who participate by entering the competitions, or by discussing, authoring, rating or voting, will have an opportunity to shape the investing sector as it affects their fields. Their contributions to the discussion will focus serious attention on the critical investment needs of their sector. Some of these Investor Advisor contributors will get the opportunity to attend global meetings to advise foundation representatives, business entrepreneurs, and other funding organizations.

By participating, particularly in the discussion, in shaping, framing, and identifying what each field needs the most to change/tip, each participant has a chance to determine funding priorities for the entire sector and to be heard by those funders who will be subscribers to the advisory.
