3) Description of your products or services: Education for 550 students of 1 1/2 to 16 years old in the rural zone of Minas Gerais- Brasil. Not exist school on this rural zone.In the Fundamar state school through an agreement with the Government of Minas Gerais State, for farm workersý children. This project maintain workshops for skills training (cabinet making, basket weavings, ceramics, spinning, typing, gardening, and computing.Provision of five meals a day, supplemented with snacks. Free school transportation from ýdoorýto-doorý for more than 500 students and teachers.Creating self-sufficiency through the growing of hay and tea leaves on 40 hectares. In partnership with the farm, Santa Rita S.A. in the growing of corn.The opening of libraries at Fundamar School for the community and the maintenance of a mobile library. Links focused on the proposals of Fundamar School in activities of education, health, sanitation,citizenship, and the criation of jobs and income.

4) Description of the operational model: We offer free transportation for more than 550 students and teachers.

5) Description of the financial model: The low-income people don't pay for the services.8 - The Agricultural Program Creating self-sufficiency through the growing of hay and tea leaves on 40 hectares. In partnership with the farm, Santa Rita S.A. in the growing of corn and a clothes factoring.

      Client fees represent this approximate percentage of operational budget: 70%

6) Key operational partnership: Our main partnership is the Government. The Government pays the profissionals and food.

  • We are at the Mature stage. This project was initiated on 1983 and is an important project in the region and in the country

    The people benefited for this project is about 1700 persons.

    8) Scale-up strategy:

  • How many low-income individuals do you plan to benefit in three years from now? How are you planning to scale up or replicate your solution? What are the major constraints to scale up?
    We are planning to replicate this project in others places.

  • Which specific areas - and why - in your field would benefit most from investment by corporations, foundations, and other investors:
    Our main investor is the lawyers office "Homero Costa" that the owner is our founder.

    The initiative started attending 30 students.
