Changemakers invites all finalists from the Market-Based Solutions that Benefit Low-Income Communities Competition to participate in our workshop and award ceremony events that will take place on April 5th and 6th, 2006, in Washington D.C.
This two-day event will create a dialogue between a select group of social and business entrepreneurs and investors interested in finding solutions to help underserved populations. We are envisioning a workshop that is designed to coach participants about strategies for communicating with and presenting their projects to investors. There will also be an interactive discussion about how to scale up market-based strategies to benefit low-income communities.
Participating entrepreneurs have been selected from all 128 business and social leaders from 35 countries who participated last October's Changemakers Innovation Award Competition on Market-Based Strategies that Benefit Low-Income Communities.
