Idea: Each Centre (kiosk) will with state of art edicational software impart some Elementary education to the village children, youths and adults on a nominal fee. It will empower and educate the villagers with knowledge and hence benefit them in getting good employment. Here, we would lay a lot of importance on women and girl child in particular because they are the neglected and unprivileged class. 'Educated mothers', if we achieved will bring about a sea change in our society.India has 1/3 of the world's illiterate people and 320 million people below the poverty line. It ranks number one in the 21st century in this category. The population reached 1 billion on May 8, 2000. India has almost 437 million illiterate people. In some of the mountain states in the northeast part of India, the women literacy rate is only high as 6%.

How do you do it: 1. Open Source Primary education online course material in English and Hindi will be developed. Development platform used Flash, ASP, JSP and database on SQL. 2. Information portal on Primary Education (eBlackBoard) shall be designed and developed for universal free access. 3. To start Set up kiosk at seven centres across Sarguja (Ambikapur) district of Chhatisgarh State of India to impart primary education to the poor population. All efforts will be made to make 1,098,635 people at Sarguja district of Chhatisgarh literate. Please note that 100% of the district population is Tribal which constitute 68.9% of total population is illiterate.

Impact: Wherever the eBlackBoard will be imparted, one can view the proceeding live over the Internet through web camera. Online results will be demonstrated and can be browsed from any where in the world. For example: The number of Beneficiary; The number of Hits that the portal is getting; Downloading of eBlackBoard software trends, etc. The donor official can always visit the site of work.

Replication: As it is internet based it will be easier tio replicate and monitor.
