Very urgent

May 10, 2005

Dear Wenchi

Thanks for your response. For your kind reference that the political situation is going to normal position. We think at the moment no more problems for launching the media advocacy programs on human trafficking issues. We can conduct the media programs freely. I do not like to give the brand name civil war in Nepal. Just it is activities of terrorist called Maoist.

In the moment I agree that policy and administration does not work very effectively in the matter.

The vested group and human smugglers getting chance for working in the field freely due to political instability. The government of Nepal does not have time for looking these issues due to the political dispute. I agree that this time media have vital role for awaring the people and enforcing the government in the matter.

So, we would like to conduct the media awareness programs on human trafficking issues.

You are kindly requested for supporting us on media awareness programs in the matter.

Your inspiration and generous support will be more significant for mobilizing the Nepalese media on the issues. As far as i know, for your kind reference the local USAID hasnot program on human trafficking. Hoping to hear from you soon. warm regards Sanu Babu Silwal
