Buki mentioned NAN's (News Agency of Nigeria) collaboration with international governmental organizations, non-governmental organizations, and the Nigerian government.
This multi-stakeholder approach appears to a key to success not only in Nigeria, but also in the anti-trafficking movement in general. But we also know that it is a challenge to initiate the partnership.
Can some of you let us know how you approach and persuade the government that human trafficking is an important issue and that immediate action must be taken, considering we are all NGOs?
I think this discussion will help many more NGOs who have difficulty convincing their governments to take this issue seriously.
