Innovation: Trafficking takes mainly the form of commercialized sex and forced labor in my region. It is easy to deduce that victims of trafficking who are uneducated and impoverished revolve around a key determinant, which is ‘unemployment’. In my opinion, the traffickers and victims need help. My idea therefore is a massive effort to help employ persons within the working class age for craft programs in the agricultural sector, which has dwindling yet profitable economy. Other economic sectors will be involved as well. Employment is achieved basically in the sense of ‘Skill Acquisition Programs’. With the aid of an IT device, an online job database for victims of trafficking will be established. This software is a neutral net processor, accepting ideas, educating on trafficking and a service provider as well. References will be made to skilled units on the basis of the information provided by victims on this online data source for placement in the economic work force.
Impact: This project will provide lucrative and legally acceptable business ventures for persons with the ‘victim of human trafficking’ status who are willing and able to join the economic work force. The agricultural idea will salvage the rural-dwellers at a geometric rate since they are the main targets of traffickers. The IT device will have a positive impact on the economy, essentially for the agricultural sector. Basically, victims of trafficking will become productive employees to help boost other sectors of the economy and eradicate trafficking as well.
Tipping Point: The agricultural economy will gradually stir up government’s interest in victimized persons. Allocation will be made for the rehabilitation of victims and imminent victims. The presupposed victims will be opportune to get quality education alongside better living conditions. Victims will begin to learn at a geometric rate considering the materials at their disposal, mental and physical skills. Hopefully they will become self-aware and make the task of extirpating human trafficking chicken feed. The potential problems though are dearth of funds and ill- informed victims.
Replication: The IT device and job database is replicable at every level with provision for modifications. It is a fine masterpiece with thoughtfully planned methodology and the software can be adapted in any interested geographical region. The driving force is determination and altruistic service. Formal knowledge is essential though. Results will be better achieved if available in various scribes and languages. Modifications are acceptable on the basis of experience and ideas can be shared.
Sustainability: It is a long-term project. This idea gained novelty first in August 2003 and tentative blueprints have been made. With the strategic use of the agricultural sector, which is fast gaining government’s interest, it is hopeful the desired goal is achieved through multinationals and government initiatives. The outcome of this project is overwhelmingly copious. If this idea thrives, a rift will be created in the illegal activism of trafficking thereby forcing traffickers out of business. An imminent change will be effected to end trafficking.
