3) Strategy Summary:
An action of mobilization and sensitization for the
practical one of the Corporative Citizenship by means of
the production of a calendar, that presents in each month
of the year a social action supported by a company. For
way of this calendar was possible to identify 12 ways of
if exerting the Corporative Citizenship, presenting simple
examples of as it is possible to make the difference in
the community, besides divulging the projects and the
organizations that are for backwards of the same ones. The
calendars had been confectioned in recycled paper and had
presented in each month the photo of a beneficiary of the
action, the conquered synthesis of the objectives and
results and the NGO, partner in the action with the
company.
4) How the Strategy Works:
The main stages of implantation of the project are:
- Planning of
the graphical and photographic project with the photograph
and
advertising agency, and scope of work;
- To identify companies who develop social action to the
community, through meetings and visits;
- Develop of the
term of commitment of the 12 supporters;
- Meeting with the 12 supporters for presentation of the
graphical project, to present the scope of work and
drawing of the months of the calendars;
- Set appointments and production of the photos in the
Social projects;
- ending of the synthesis of the Social Project and NGO?
s
logo and the company? logos;
- Graphical production of the calendar itself,
- Preparation, spreading and accomplishment of the
calendar's launching event;
- Distribution of the calendars between the companies
supporters' network.
Example 1 - Calendar of ambient citizenship, to present
12 ways them companies to
preserve the environment and to diminish the impact and
residues generated, as action of selective collection,
more ecological equipment purchase, lectures on ambient
education, etc.
Example 2 - Calendar of the human rights, to present 12
ways them companies to
promote the human rights in the work environment, as the
questions of sort, etinia, religion, deficient physicist,
etc.
5) Key Strategy Elements:
i. Mobilizing Citizen Support:
Mobilize 15 different local companies, being 12 as a
financial and 3 as a services supporter, the project
innovated in the dynamics of raising resources of the
Institute. Until then the generated financial resources
for each project they were caught with in the maximum 4
supporters, implies in quotas with high values. When
diminishing the quotas and to extend the number of
supporters, also facilitating the mode of payment, this
project made possible the magnifying of the net of
financial supporters and the reduction of the dependence
to some partners. The search for not financial resources,
as advertising, photograph and buffet, made possible the
conquest of new partners and added a differential in the
quality of the produced material
iii. Establishing Relationships with Strategic Partnerships:
The Citizenship's Calendar helped to legitimize to the
work of the Institute with private sector, press,
government and society in general, that, through the
speech of the partners, during the event of launching, and
of the actions presented in the calendar, had started to
recognize the articulator?s paper of the Institute to the
enterprise way in the promotion of action of
citizenship.The project also innovate the capacity of the
Institute to multiply the concept of Corporative
Citizenship enters the net of partners of the supporter?s
companies, in function of the calendar to have if
presented as a tool of easy distribution and together
sensitization to other companies for the subject. We
esteem to reach 2000 companies with this project.
6) Increasing Self-sufficiency and Social Impact:
The actions and results above results in the institutional
sustainability, in the measure where they had provided an
action of raising financial resources and new
partnerships, and with the fulfillment of the mission of
the Institute. When congregating companies of different
sizes, products and services to present its social
performance, the Calendar of the Citizenship also
sensitized other companies for this practical, spread
different causes and social projects, diversified the
sources of local resources and increases the interest of
different actors of the society for the subject of the
corporate citizenship. Specifically together the 12
supporters, the project result in the reliable bond, in
function of the exchange of information and working
together during the six months of production of the
project.
The caught resources make possible the act of contract of
staff and the Deep access to of Challenge considered for
the Avina Foundation, through local companies.
8) Organization Mission and Vision:
Our mission is to mobilize and to support the Private
Sector to invest in Corporate Citizenship, that
contributes for social fairness and the sustainable
development in the region. Our vision is to contribute in
advance of practical of the social responsibility for the
largest number of companies.
