3) Strategy Summary:
Through the empregabilidade of 250 deaf people in more
than 20 companies the AAPPE has conquered visibility and
credibility in the alagoas's societies, what has
propitiated interest for lingua of signals, new social
concepts and solidary attitudes of support to our project.
The AAPPE has implanted the direct marketing and 1300
contributing partners are responsible for 50% of our
prescription. The number interested of people in learning
the POUNDS increases each day, being responsible for 3% of
the prescription, besides generating jobs and incomes for
deaf instructors.
4) How the Strategy Works:
It has started with the spreading performance in the
defense of the rights of the deaf community: officializing
the signal language of signals in the State; intervening
with the public policies; promoting events and campaigns
in partnership with the media, enabling professional deaf
people and listeners to act in its projects, and making
partnerships with governmental and the private
initiative. Amongst the demands restrained due to public
policies the young desire of e adult deaf for a vacant in
the work market was imperative. They had never obtained
this dream. In 1999 the AAPPE enables 30 young peaple
directed them to their first jobs causing great impact in
the alagoas society, that was unaware of the potential of
the carrying people of deficiency and discovers that the
deaf people can communicate through signals! And it has,
the organization faced great difficulties for its
maintenance, identified at this moment, the chance to
increase its publics collection- that til then were based
on the government- through the implantation of a service of
telemarketing and in it offers of courses signals for
companus, and to society the in general. Currently, the
AAPPE finds itself in a more steady situation; the team is
more conscientious of its mission and creates favorable
conditions for tlmk to expand its performance, to mobilize
volunteers and to offer rendering of services in diverse
areas,such as: education, health, and working market,
contributing significantly for a bigger diversity in the
captation of resources that guarantees the sustentabilidade
of the AAPPE. The experience could be sumarized of the
following form:
- Spread the image of the organization and the cause
that
it defends
- Identify the necessities of its public-target and to
take care of that with quality.
- Contribute the the quality of the public policies,
leading the governement
- Capacitar the team to act the front of the given
services and to in general to promote the equalization of
chances through the qualification of people with
deficiencies and sensitization of empresariado and the
society.
- Implantation of the TLMK for mobilization of resources
and spreading of the services.
5) Key Strategy Elements:
i. Mobilizing Citizen Support:
The action to sensetize has involves voluntary
professionals of the media, journalists, advertising
executives. 4- the action to enable and to form the team
technique has initiates with the mobilization of
professionals specialized in social, psico-pedagogia
service, therapeutic, as well administrative and general
services that had carried through during of two years
voluntary works.
The implantation of tlmk gave through a company
specialized contacted in Recife during an event of the
Ashoka and Interage. This company one came to the Macei?
and implanted all the methodology and trained the team with
proper capital during 6 months; after this period tlmk
produced it?s developing for account of the organization.
ii. Generating Financial and Nonfinancial Resources:
The voluntary work of the media gave visibility to the
AAPPE attracting the public, resulting in services, small
monthly contributions, donations and accomplishments of
the first accords with public system. 4-The qualification
that internally initiated through the voluntary work has
expanded with events, courses and seminaries for
professionals, deaf societies and the its relatives s the
interested community. These actions had had the financial
support of the Ministry of the Education and the Corde ?
Coordenadorian nacional of support the deficiency people
carrying. 5-A implantation of tlmk made possible a monthly
prescription that guarantees the maintenance of the
organization and the continuity of its services
iii. Establishing Relationships with Strategic Partnerships:
The spreading reached definitive segments: university,
unions and churches, generating university accords to
serve as apprentice, eventually material graph, general
donation of cleanness material, foods and services. 4-
Action to enable the consolidated image of the AAPPE as
Center of Reference in Deafness, favored the dissemination
of the courses of pounds and the accomplishment of accords
with programs of professional formation of the Ministry of
the Work, making possible in 4 years the of 1500 people in
the graduation 6 cities. 5- the work of the TLMK has been
in the direction to conquer new givers, but mainly the

mission.
6) Increasing Self-sufficiency and Social Impact:
The measure that if becomes more visivel before the
society the AAPPE accumulates greaters responsibilities
and chances of partnerships and development. For one
better exploitation of everything this, the continuity of
its programs and its sustentabilidade the necessary AAPPE
prioritariamente to invest in its organizacional
development from the implantation of a plan of
communication and marketing. Exactly that through eventual
accords the organization obtains investments for
acquisition of veiculos and equipment, the impact of its
action alone will happen of formidable form, with an
organized management, dynamic, qualified and guided well
for the necessities of its I publish direct and indirect.
The AAPPE comes conquering to each day more credibility
and spaces in the proper team, the emprasas, the
governments, the taken care of community and the society.
The professionalization of the organization is everything
that we need to be auto-sustainable.
8) Organization Mission and Vision:
To contribute for the improvement of the quality of life
of the deaf community of Alagoas and, gradually, to become
a center of reference in education for deaf people,
developing a set of projects come back toward educational,
social, linguistic, comunicativas and professional
questions in the area of the deafness.
Looking Forward to the Next Three Years:
Through investment in the organizacional development of
the AAPPE, initially with the implantation investing in
the organizacional development of the AAPPE, in the
implantation of a plan of communication and marketing, in
the rendering of services and assessorship to the
governments (municipal, state and federal), to the
companies and community in general, fortifying tlmk and
promoting events for captation of resources.
